Dr Bhavin Jadav welcomes referrals for acute fractures, complex orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries and elective orthopaedic conditions like Hip arthritis.
Our practice is committed to providing timely specialist assessment, clear communication and coordinated patient care to support both patients and referring practitioners.
We run weekly clinics, and have access to urgent operating theatres to be able to accommodate most urgent injuries in a timely fashion.

Urgent Fracture & Trauma Referrals
Dr Jadav works at Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private Hospital.
Patients requiring emergency care for their acute fractures can be seen through the Emergency Department and referred to Dr Jadav for Orthopaedic Surgery care if required.
Conditions commonly accepted urgently include:
- Hip fractures
- Wrist fractures
- Ankle fractures
- Fractures in the shoulder (Clavicle, Scapula, Proximal Humerus)
- Elbow fracture-dislocations
- Long bone fractures (Femur, Tibia-fibula, humerus, Radius-Ulna)
- Complex fractures involving joints
- Fractures around joint replacements
Imaging & Referral Requirements
To assist efficient assessment, referrals should ideally include:
- Relevant imaging and reports
- Mechanism of injury where applicable
- Current medication list
- Relevant past medical and surgical history
- WorkCover or compensable claim information where relevant
Patients are encouraged to bring copies of imaging to their consultation where possible.
Regional & Rural Referrals
Referrals are welcome from regional South Australian hospitals and rural general practices.
Telehealth consultations may be appropriate in selected cases, particularly for postoperative review, imaging review and preliminary assessments.
Urban and metropolitan Urgent Care Centres are welcome to refer patients for prompt consultations.
With online imaging access available quite widely, it has been able to provide meaningful consultations, preliminary assessments or follow up reviews for patients from rural and regional locations. We have been able to provide preliminary assessments and post operative supports for patients from regional urgent care centres and emergency departments of the Limestone Coast, Fleurieu peninsula, Riverland, Barossa as well as interstate referrals from the Northern Territory from Alice Springs as well as Darwin.
